Managing a Network Engineer and Windows Administrator
Experience
Minimum: Five years’ experience in network management and three years’ experience managing staff
Preferred: Ten years’ experience in network management and five years’ experience managing staff
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities required for the position.
Certifications
Microsoft and Cisco certifications such as MCITP or CCNP are desired. Security certifications such as CISSP considered a plus. Experience with network audit a plus.

This Manager will be responsible for Managing the Security of all technology related assets including building security system at our Client's Headquarter location in Alexandria, Virginia. This includes managing the Client's technology infrastructure including computers, servers, and other networking equipment, as well as managing software applications used on internal network. This candidate will work closely with the Director of IT to develop strategies to improve, expand, or replace current IT infrastructure with new solutions to meet the Client's business needs. Manages relationship with vendors of IT infrastructure hardware, software, and services.
